A Blend of Our Talents into a Great Product Idea!

The idea of engraved magnetic bottle openers came to Iris and Alex while trying to think of a new product that could allow them both to utilize their talents. Alex, being a wood craftsman by trade, and Iris, being a graphic designer, came up with the idea of personalizing names, monograms, dates, logos and custom designs onto handmade bottle openers.

Since the products have started selling, we have been pleased to see what a hit they have been – from wives customizing the openers with anniversary wishes and selecting the opener metal type to match their corresponding anniversary year – to college kids having them engraved with their fraternity logo and enjoying the “magic” magnetic drop catch feature with their friends. We feel that the customized openers have been such a hit because they are an affordable way to capture a custom memento that can be used for the home, for gifts, or for special events.
